Melting Operations

Pittsburgh has a long, rich tradition of steelmakers and McConway & Torley, LLC has been a part of this tradition for 150 years and remains one of the last steel makers in the city. McConway & Torley, LLC  has the capability to produce 60,000 tons of steel per year.  The recently modernized foundry operation allows M&T to increase daily pouring capacity and expand alloy and refining capabilities. Additionally, new automated functions allow improved casting consistency and increased productivity.
