Testing

McConway & Torley, LLC performs a variety of testing in-house from steel chemistry ladle analysis, to fatigue testing of final product, in accordance with AAR, ISO and ASTM specifications. The core of our R&D testing facility is a custom built, 1.5 Million lbs capacity coupler tensile & fatigue testing machine. This purpose built machine allows M&T to prove designs and processes to AAR standards, as well as validate engineering simulations. Our mechanical tensile lab also provides validation of all heat treating processes through measurement of mechanical properties.
